Everything you need
to operate.
Nothing you don't.
Joining the Proprietary & Fiduciary network as a Corporate Authorised Representative gives your business the regulatory framework to deliver wholesale financial services, backed by 25 years of established governance, a licence built on trust, and a network of experienced professionals operating to the same standard.
01
How it works
Your business,
within our trusted network.
A Corporate Authorised Representative (CAR) is a company that holds written authority from an Australian Financial Services Licensee to provide specified financial services — without holding their own AFSL.
Proprietary & Fiduciary Services Pty Ltd holds AFSL 258057 and maintains the licence-level governance framework (supervisory arrangements, compliance documentation, and regulatory oversight) that underpins the network.
You retain full operational independence. As a network member, you operate within the agreed framework — individually responsible for ensuring your activities meet the standards required under the licence and your appointment terms.

The appointment process
From enquiry to authorised

We assess your governance capability, wholesale-client focus, and alignment with the platform scope.
03

Eligible entities enter a formal agreement establishing the specific scope and supervisory arrangements.
04
Operate and grow
Run your business independently — serving your clients and making your own commercial decisions within the framework.
04
Why it works
Six reasons experienced teams
join our network.
Get to market faster
Skip the 12–18 month AFSL application process. Authorisation can follow within weeks of a successful eligibility review.
Licence framework in place
Supervision, conflicts management, recordkeeping, and incident escalation frameworks are established — network members operate within them, upholding their own conduct obligations.
Full operational control
Your business, your clients, your fees. The CAR framework gives you the authorisation — you retain complete commercial independence.
A network built on trust
AFSL 258057 has operated continuously since 2001. Network members benefit from two decades of established governance and an unblemished regulatory record.
Proportionate oversight
Supervisory intensity is calibrated to your actual activities. Rigorous where required, proportionate everywhere else.
